Next-generation urban lighting

STACK is the new collection of pathway luminaires for urban lighting, developed in collaboration with Speirs Major Architecture Lighting in London.

Presented for the first time at the international lighting fair in Frankfurt, Light + Building 24, it redefines the concept of street lighting. This solution for public spaces and contemporary landscapes stands out for its technological efficiency and the sustainability of its materials.

Made from recycled and recyclable materials such as natural stone, STACK bollards bring LED urban lighting closer to a more human, warm, and tactile language.

Each element is built around the SIDEis One module, used as the luminous core within a variety of bodies made of wood, concrete, clay, terracotta, or 3D-printed plastics. Infinite combinations for a new generation of luminaires designed for sustainable lighting.

Efficiency and flexibility for sustainable lighting

The STACK bollards embody a “less” approach, blending refined form, eco-conscious materials, and efficient LED technology to enhance any outdoor space. STACK employs a series of mounting solutions designed to minimize visual and environmental impact. Design, light, and material achieve a perfect balance, with maximum efficiency and built-in flexibility to adapt to evolving architectural conditions.

The optical system of the module is highly efficient at projecting light onto the ground from a low height and grazing vertical surfaces, creating pleasing visual effects. It also includes integrated adaptive technology that allows light levels and distribution to be adjusted via an app or remote control. In this way, walkways, courtyards, and green areas are illuminated without glare, ensuring superior visual comfort.

Invisible installation with LED lighting

STACK bollards are designed to blend seamlessly into the landscape. Thanks to their compact, modular design, they can be installed even on very low surfaces, camouflaging themselves among vegetation, paving, or garden architecture. Almost invisible by day, they come to life at night, tracing paths of soft, grazing light that guide both the gaze and the step.

With over 50 design products, the STACK collection offers limitless customization possibilities. The selection process begins with three key parameters:

Versatile and unmistakably unique, STACK finishes range from raw stone to elegant ceramics and smooth clay ring surfaces. Each element becomes a discreet yet distinctive presence, capable of elevating a landscape project with naturalness and personality.

Model selection: a conscious choice

The STACK family offers multiple shapes, sizes, and optics to suit every urban setting and design concept. The ideal variant can be selected based on key criteria:

  • Design intent and mood: minimal, warm/organic, high-tech, or sculptural, and desired nighttime atmosphere.
  • Lighting performance: distribution (wide, asymmetric, grazing), lumen package, CCT/CRI, and glare control.
  • Form factor: proportions, silhouette, and environmental integration.
  • Materials and finishes: marine-grade options and various surface treatments for durability in different climates.
  • Installation and integration: choice of base, flange, or spike, with built-in cable routing and junctions.
  • Controls and connectivity: DALI, 0–10V, Casambi, Zhaga/D4i compatibility for future upgrades. Environment and compliance IP/IK ratings, dark-sky protection, light pollution control, and regulatory compliance.
  • Environment & compliance: energy use, driver strategy, maintenance intervals, and total cost of ownership.
